The Perth Amboy Civic Trust celebrated the election of four alumni to the Perth Amboy Board of Education and City Council at their monthly Trust meeting on November 16th. Randy Convery (not pictured), Tashi Vasquez, and Junior Iglesia won seats on the Perth Amboy Board of Education, and Jelmin Caba to the city council, celebrated their wins at the November 16th Trust meeting with a cake and words of encouragement from the Trust.
While the newly elected officials can no longer be Trustees due to their positions, the foursome pledged to bring a new kind of leadership – solution-focused leadership – to their respective boards.
