The Civic Pledge continues to inspire action from citizens from all different backgrounds across the state. At a recent event in Jersey City, Governor James Florio, alongside Governor Tom Kean, took the Pledge and urged citizens that if people want to live in the kind of country they deserve they must get involved in their community to make it a better place to live.
