Legislative Caucus Interns trained in No-Blame Problem Solving

This year’s interns at the New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus Foundation can add “No-Blame Problem Solving” to their impressive resumés and their leadership skills! Through training with Assistant Chancellor Diane Hill of Rutgers-Newark, the interns from HBCUs and New Jersey colleges had the opportunity to earn a Certificate of Training in Leadership and No-Blame Problem Solving, and to learn about important opportunities to serve their home cities without running for office. Interns reflected on how this course and their experience in the internship had opened their eyes to the importance of participating in government decision-making. They said that most people their age don’t even realize how big an impact they could have — so the interns committed to “Share the Power” by sharing the course with their peers!
