The Plainfield Civic Trust held their first regular meeting on Tuesday with a primer from Trust Facilitator Joel Rosa on what is expected of a Trustee. Perth Amboy Civic Trustees Lionel Giron and Terri Alston gave an overview of the day-in-the-life of a Civic Trustee and the successes and power they have when they become a Trustee. Toward the end of the meeting the Plainfield Trustees expressed their enthusiasm to work together to find solutions to the challenges confronting their city. Trustees who committed to a year of service was given a copy of The Citizens Manual, a guide on how the navigate the centers of power.
